Ocean Grove, NJ is a Victorian 19th Century community preserved to represent the days of the past that we all miss so dearly when times were less hectic, things were calmer and 'life' was about living. Just steps from the beach, or Main Street ice cream parlors, restaurants, antique shops and more you will be at the utmost comfort in this circa 1890 Victorian family beach house with tons of charm. Come and truly relax and decompress in this nationally recognized historic getaway town founded in 1869.
Just bring your suitcase and come spend some time at this magical summer place and take in the cool sea air on the wrap-around porch only 1.5 blocks from the beach.
Layout : You are renting the entire ocean side (left half in the photo) of the property Wrap around covered porch with seating for 6 and small dining table Side yard patio with BBQ (propane provided) and huge picnic table 1st Floor: Living Room, Dining Room (table seats 16), Den (with sleeper sofa), Full Kitchen (with W/D), Full Bathroom Additional Amenities: We provide fresh linens, pillows, and towels for all of our guests. For the beach, we include 6 beach passes, towels, chairs, kid's toys, and a beach cart. There is a high-def LCD TV in the Living Room with cable, DVR, DVD and VCR player s. 2nd Floor: 3 Large Bedrooms (each with a queen bed and private sink), Full Bathroom (fully renovated winter 2010). 3rd Floor: 2 Bedrooms (2 Twin beds in one and 1 Double bed in the other; both have private sinks), Full Bathroom with shower and claw-foot tub. 1st Floor back den has a queen sleep sofa and a full bathroom. We provide fresh linens, pillows, and towels for all of our guests.
What To Do: An early morning stroll to a local cafe or go shopping, eating, antiquing, exercising, biking or party boat fishing. Take a long walk on the 'boardwalk' up to the renovation-in-motion Asbury Park or all the way down to Sea Girt. Hang on the beach in the afternoon or hit a few of the town parks and playgrounds. Play mini golf nearby and just enjoy the beautiful Victorian architecture in an afternoon or early evening walk before dinner. Top it off with a banana split at one of the many parlors.
