Belmar, NJ is commuting distance to the Trenton and Philadelphia area. It has a train stop on the North Jersey coast line serving Newark and New York City. For family amusement parks, there is Great Adventure, a 20 minute drive due west on I-195. Nearby Point Pleasant also has boardwalk amusements. Belmar, NJ is a destination for families with children, the young and young at heart. Fisherman's heaven with daily party boats out of the marina. A pirate ship playground on the beach.
