My family and I had a great experience at this lovely home in Ocean Grove. The location was absolutely perfect, very walkable to all, the beach and boardwalk was steps away. Raj was a pleasure to work with. We look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful stay at 5 ½ Bath Avenue, a beautifully updated Victorian home in a great location. It’s only 3 houses from the beach and a short walk to Asbury Park. We brought our bicycles with us, but there were also two cruisers available for use. We rode and walked everywhere. We didn’t move our car once the entire time we were there!
Every room in the house has been updated, including the 3 full bathrooms. The new furnishings and décor give off a real beach feel while still maintaining the home’s Victorian charm. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and be comfortable. There’s also a porch and second floor deck. We really loved hanging out on the upstairs deck with the retractable awning and enjoying the beach views.
Allacen and Raj are super nice people too. They were informative and responsive to all our needs. It was a real a pleasure working with them.
We love vacationing in Ocean Grove with our family and this house is by far our favorite. We can’t wait to return to 5 ½ Bath!

This is a lovely, clean and adorable Victorian four doors from the beach & boardwalk. We absolutely loved our stay here. We have stayed in Ocean Grove for a number of years, and this is definitely our favorite rental. For some reason the house just has good vibes – it’s so relaxing! With 4 bedrooms and two front porches to choose from (one for sunning on the 2nd floor, one for chatting, reading on the first floor) we had plenty of space to spread out as a family of four.
The house also has 3 full brand new bathrooms which were gorgeous – we were the first to use them! I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed which you don’t always find in a rental! Just bring your spices and groceries – it had the sharpest knives I’ve used anywhere, and that was such a pleasure.
I will say the stairs to the 2nd floor are a tad steep, no problem for us but for older folks it may be a slight problem. This is all to say that this is a well-maintained Victorian, and not new construction-so expect an historical home. The décor is clean, beachy and up to date. We loved the clean lines and white theme – it really made it feel open and inviting.
The best part of this house, however, is the location. Steps from the beach, downtown OG and Asbury’s great restaurants as well as a lively boardwalk, you won’t need a car once you arrive. My favorite activity is just walking around the neighborhood and looking at the houses and gorgeous gardens.
This home was such a pleasure it makes me hesitate to provide such a rave review – I’m afraid it won’t be available when we’re ready to return – and we will definitely be returning. The owner Raj and property manager Allacen were a pleasure to deal with- responsive, kind and accommodating. Thanks to them both for a lovely 2 weeks. Can’t wait to come back!

we rented this beach house and it far exceeded our expectations. The house is pristine with new renovations. It sleeps 8 people ! With 3 bathrooms. The proximity to the beach is perfect. We had a great time because of all of these accommodations. The owner and property manager were very kind and attentive.Looking forward to going to 5 1/2 bath.

This place was amazing in all aspects! Great Great Great Location! Three Greats, because of the great location to the beach (just a few houses away), great location for walking around the Ocean Grove town and shops, and great location to walk into Asbury Park! I can not stress location enough! The home was a perfect size for our Family stay. There are 3 different floors, with multiple bedrooms on the second and third floor. And 3 updated full bathrooms on each floor. I have to say, the value of this place is great. It's a cozy spot that gives everyone enough privacy with bedrooms and bathrooms. The porches are also no joke! We used the front porch to enjoy quiet mornings and coffee, and to people-watch in the afternoon after returning from the beach. And the 2nd floor porch has incredible views of the Ocean and the sky as evening approaches. Last but not least, the owner, Raj, was more than accommodating throughout this entire process. From the moment we booked up until checkout, Raj made sure he briefed us on the house, his suggestions, and took the time to answer any questions we had prior and during the stay. He is someone who answers you right away, either through TEXT, or over the phone. That alone made me feel more comfortable about the place we were renting. Big thanks to Raj for making us feel welcome at his house, our family had a great time!

This house was the perfect place for our friends and family New Year's Eve gathering. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prepare a 5-course meal for 9, and the tableware set required minimal improvisation to handle the group size. Every room in the house feels both cozy and modern, a beach house vibe with nice fixtures and good insulation :)
The location is fantastic - you can see the boardwalk from the front porch, and with a short walk you can get to Odyssey for coffee on Ocean Grove's Main St or Asbury Park Distilling Co for excellent cocktails just inside Asbury Park.
Raj was very attentive and a pleasure to work with. He even helped me find a NYE broadcast in the final minutes before the ball drop!
All told, a great rental experience to ring in the new year.

Walking distance to the boardwalk and downtown Asbury this house was perfect for myself and my two boys for a 4 night off season stay. Raj and Allacen were super super responsive and on top of things and we had lots of space and beds in the house. The BBQ was great for a night of grilling and the living and dining room space were just perfect. Quiet neighborhood with lots to explore on foot.

We had a wonderful stay at this perfect beach cottage. It had everything we needed at a fantastic location. We didn't need to get back in our car once we did a big shopping. We hung out on the downstairs porch playing cards when it rained one morning. Such a nice feature. My husband and I had some quiet time looking out at the beach from the top porch while our teens took a stroll for burgers on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. The decor of the house gives off a cozy beachy vibe. It is very tastefully funrished. The second floor bathroom has a cool vintage feel with all the important updates. Kitchen is updated. Mattresses are comfortable.
A seven minute walk away, just over a quaint bridge into Asbury, you'll find a newly renovated building housing a beer garden with a gourmet victorian style restaurant next door. If we needed a last minute item, we just took a 4 minute walk to a cute little grocery store in town.
Ocean Grove has more charm than any other jersey town we have stayed at and we felt safe letting our kids walk around imagining a time long ago when the victorian style homes were first built.
The owners couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. They thought of everything to make this house properly equipped and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. This house is ideal!
