#185. Delightful Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this perfect beach cottage. It had everything we needed at a fantastic location. We didn't need to get back in our car once we did a big shopping. We hung out on the downstairs porch playing cards when it rained one morning. Such a nice feature. My husband and I had some quiet time looking out at the beach from the top porch while our teens took a stroll for burgers on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. The decor of the house gives off a cozy beachy vibe. It is very tastefully funrished. The second floor bathroom has a cool vintage feel with all the important updates. Kitchen is updated. Mattresses are comfortable.

A seven minute walk away, just over a quaint bridge into Asbury, you'll find a newly renovated building housing a beer garden with a gourmet victorian style restaurant next door. If we needed a last minute item, we just took a 4 minute walk to a cute little grocery store in town.

Ocean Grove has more charm than any other jersey town we have stayed at and we felt safe letting our kids walk around imagining a time long ago when the victorian style homes were first built.

The owners couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. They thought of everything to make this house properly equipped and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. This house is ideal!

#184. Ideal vacation house

Only 4 houses down from the beach and boardwalk. Short walk to auditorium and Asbury Park. The house is very clean and inviting. The beds were comfy, and it offered all the amenities of home, including washer and dryer.
We brought our 29 yr old granddaughter from San Diego to OG to experience where I had grown up. She loved the "little house" and the entire OG lifestyle.
The owner and property manager were very accommodating and readily available.
It was a perfect choice for us and hope to rent in the future!

#183. Great beach rental

My daughter, friend and i had a wonderful stay at this house. it was close to the beach and to both the towns of asbury and ocean grove. never had to take the car anywhere. the house itself is lovely. Raj and Allacen are very responsive and just great people. i highly recommend this rental.

#182. Loved this house!!

This was our first time in Ocean Grove and we rented "Nichols house" for an extended Labor Day weekend. Allacen( realtor) and Raj (owner) are both awesome and responsive, making this an overall pleasant and wonderful experience. The house is literally 3 houses and one hotel from the beach. ( meaning there are 3 houses and a small hotel on the corner)... it is so easy to walk to walk to the beach and boardwalk. If you like to walk, this is great because you can walk either way on the boardwalk.. toward Bradley Beach/ Avon on the sea/Belmar or, the other direction into Asbury Park. The house is very nice and comfortable and recently renovated. My husband and I were there with our daughter and niece. There are two bedrooms on the second floor and 2 on the 3rd so the "girls" had the 3rd floor and we took the second to spread out. I'm sure that others may choose to have more people in the house, but we found the house to be perfect for our crew.
it is an older house( late 1890's!) and very vertical with steeper steps so if you have anybody who has difficulty with steps, this is something to think about, but for most this is not an issue. The beds were all comfortable and we got the bedding package which was also all new and comfortable. They had great towels and beach towels and chairs which were so nice not to have to bring!
The house is overall very comfortable and we really loved the second floor porch as well as the front porch. Being 3 houses from the beach you can totally see the beach from the second floor deck. very relaxing right off of the bedrooms.
Without a doubt the best thing about this house is the LOCATION! right by the beach and boardwalk, in this cute, quirky town of Ocean Grove... where you can walk right to Main St in like 5 minutes and get dinner or ice cream (byo.. it's a dry town)OR you can walk to Asbury Park ( 5-10 min) and eat or drink at a ton of places and also hear music and MAYBE even get to see Bruce Springsteen!!! :)
We found this house to be a great rental and we will definitely be back! It was a hassle free/ pleasant experience with a great accommodation at a fair price at the beach. what more can you ask for?GO, GO, GO!!!

#181. Great location

We had a great stay in Ocean Grove not only for the sun and beach but the history and charm as well. This house was one of the highlights of it all. Perfect size for the whole family and perfect location to enjoy it all. Everyone involved was wonderful to work with and helpful in making our stay go well. Definitely a home we would visit again.

#180. Adorable Home Close to Everything!

Amazing location! Exactly as described! This adorable house located a few steps from the Ocean Grove Beach and a short walk to Asbury restaurants was perfect for our family vacation. The owner and agent couldn't have been nicer. Both were available at a moments notice to answer all of our questions. We will definitely visit again.
