#370. The Perfect Beach House
This is a lovely, clean and adorable Victorian four doors from the beach & boardwalk. We absolutely loved our stay here. We have stayed in Ocean Grove for a number of years, and this is definitely our favorite rental. For some reason the house just has good vibes – it’s so relaxing! With 4 bedrooms and two front porches to choose from (one for sunning on the 2nd floor, one for chatting, reading on the first floor) we had plenty of space to spread out as a family of four.
The house also has 3 full brand new bathrooms which were gorgeous – we were the first to use them! I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed which you don’t always find in a rental! Just bring your spices and groceries – it had the sharpest knives I’ve used anywhere, and that was such a pleasure.
I will say the stairs to the 2nd floor are a tad steep, no problem for us but for older folks it may be a slight problem. This is all to say that this is a well-maintained Victorian, and not new construction-so expect an historical home. The décor is clean, beachy and up to date. We loved the clean lines and white theme – it really made it feel open and inviting.
The best part of this house, however, is the location. Steps from the beach, downtown OG and Asbury’s great restaurants as well as a lively boardwalk, you won’t need a car once you arrive. My favorite activity is just walking around the neighborhood and looking at the houses and gorgeous gardens.
This home was such a pleasure it makes me hesitate to provide such a rave review – I’m afraid it won’t be available when we’re ready to return – and we will definitely be returning. The owner Raj and property manager Allacen were a pleasure to deal with- responsive, kind and accommodating. Thanks to them both for a lovely 2 weeks. Can’t wait to come back!
