Only a 2 1/2 block walk to the Belmar beach, boardwalk, and beach front playgrounds and a few blocks away from downtown Belmar with great resaurants and shopping. Train station with service from Belmar to NYC is only 4 blocks away.
Belmar is a beach town, and also loved for its marina and daily fishing boats out of the Shark River inlet to the ocean. Seafood restaurants like Kleins on the inlet, serve local catch. The downtown, which is away from the beach, has a nightlife with bars, restaurants, clubs, music and dance. Shops have bathing suits and beach wear. The train from NYC stops in Belmar.
