The Jersey shore off-season is less crowded and all the great restaurants are still open for business. In fact, the shore has lots of weekend events the year. Avon's spectacular beach and boardwalk are great for walking and biking all season long. Easy access to Northern NJ and NYC via NJ Transit train which is walking distance from the cottage.
Close to Asbury Park and Red Bank with lots of music and theater. So much to do even in the off season. Surrounded by great restaurants.
