
New Summer 2026 dates JUST ADDDED! This first beach block century home has been artfully renovated and features a beautiful open floor plan with original hardwood floors. Each of the 5 bedrooms has their own full bathroom which makes it ideal for large groups.
Authentic victorian architectural pieces and leaded glass are peppered throughout this former B&B. The house is ideally located and is perfect for family and friends to gather in the large open kitchen and dining room. The porches have spectacular ocean views and two of the upstair bedrooms have access to a large porch with panoramic ocean views. During the summer months we only take 7 day rentals from Friday - Friday- until AFTER Labor Day (the first week in September). SIX BEACH BADGES come with this rental PLEASE note that rates listed are firm. All bookings will require an $1000 security fee due upon booking and returned a week after your stay once the property is inspected for any damages/lost items. The primary renter must present a valid driver's license prior to agreement and we do not host proms. Renters must be 26 years old or older.
This former B&B is in a quiet family neighborhood for the summer! IF YOU ARE A BOISTEROUS GROUP THIS HOME IS NOT FOR YOU. The neighborhood is charming and VERY QUIET as the homes are extremely close together.
This renovated century Victorian has an open first floor plan with large eat in kitchen, 5 comfortable bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms (5 bedrooms have their own bath!!), 2 large porches with ocean views, private outdoor shower, renovated kitchens, living room, washer/dryer, cable, A/C, 3 blocks to town (3 blocks to Asbury Park), gas grill, sleeps 10.. AT THIS TIME...NO MORE THAN 10 GUESTS CAN STAY. $1000 fee for more than 10 people.

Even though we don't currently run it as a B&B (it was a running B&B when it was originally purchased), we decided to maintain my B&B and mercantile license. With that said, we must adhere to all fire/safety codes and the house meets (and exceeds) all of the required standards. This is important when considering a rental since many owners renting their properties are not required by law to meet these standards. All of these certificates are posted in the house.
There is an additional $250 LIGHT CLEANING/LINEN FEE that is added to each week as renters are asked to leave the house in the condition it was in when they arrived. Note: these are one of the lowest fees you will find for this size/type of home.
There is an $1000 refundable security fee added to each booking.

The breakout of the 5 bedrooms; One bedroom has a king bed, three bedrooms have full/queen beds and one bedroom has two twin beds. There is an outdoor shower.
THIS HOME IS NOT CHILD OR BABY PROOFED. Each renter with babies and/or small children will have to baby proof the home. Also, children under 8 years old must no the on the top floor porches without adult supervision. In Ocean Grove, all of the homes are close to each other and there is only street parking available (only 5% of the homes on the 1st beach block have their own parking) Once you park, everything is within walking distance.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: There is a 3rd floor (2 bedroom/1 full bath) "owner's" apartment (the owner's of the B&B used to live there) on the top floor that would be empty during your stay.
PROCEDURES: Once the owner and renter have agreed upon dates, the owner will send the renter a contract to be mutually agreed upon and signed. Payments will be made (see below payment plan) and the owner will send detailed information regarding check in one week prior to the renter's arrival. The owner is ALWAYS available prior to that time if the renter has any questions about the property or things to do in the area.
Once the rental concludes and the house is checked for any damages, the security deposit will be refunded within that following week.
PAYMENTS:If booked more that 2 months in advance, payments will be made in two installments (unless otherwise agreed upon by the owner & renter). Payments can be made via check or an electronic payment (ie: Venmo, etc). The 1st payment (security deposit and 1/2 of the rent) will be due once the rental is agreed upon and the 2nd payment (1/2 the rent and the cleaning fee) will be due 100 days prior to the rental (this timing may change based on when the rental is agreed upon). Payment will beed to be in full for rentals agreed upon 2 months prior to rental date.
REFUND POLICY: If renter cancels 90 days prior to arrival a full refund will be given, a 50% refund 60 days prior to arrival and a 25% refund 30 days prior. No refunds can be given after 29 days prior to arrival but the owner will do her best to re-rent the house and provide the renter with some form of refund. Regardless, the security deposit will be refunded.

My 7 friends & I spent a long weekend in Annie’s home. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time. Fortunately, the house is so comfortable & clean, that we were happy to cozy up & relax inside. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single friend told me this was one of the best beach houses they’ve ever rented. The beds were comfortable & the rooms had many hooks, hangars, & even extra drawers under the beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. We spent a lot of time hanging at the center island & lounging in the living room, so I can attest to the fact that the gathering areas are spacious & spotless, and the kitchen is clean & well stocked. Communication with Annie from many weeks before check in, until a few hours after we left was friendly & helpful. I’ve rented dozens & dozens of times, & this was the easiest & friendliest experience I’ve had. I honestly think she would’ve made the sun come out for us if she could have. We’ll be back to enjoy the beach that’s just steps away!

Annie's house is really well located and enables easy access to the beach and the Asbury Park boardwalk. Each space in the house reflects thoughtful design. We stayed for a long weekend for a family wedding and had a melee of family together--which worked well in the house. The living areas are great, allowing for gathering on the front porch, around the kitchen island, and in the living and dining areas. Annie was super responsive and very thoughtful.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this incredible Airbnb in Ocean Grove, NJ. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming.
The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home.
The location is absolutely ideal — just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the peaceful charm that Ocean Grove is known for. The neighborhood is quiet and historic, with gorgeous Victorian homes and a laid-back, friendly vibe. We loved that all the kids and adults were able to enjoy being able to walk to the beach or head into nearby Asbury Park for dinner and music.
The host was outstanding — super communicative, responsive, and genuinely warm. You can tell they really care about their guests having a great experience.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a base to explore the Jersey Shore, this place has it all. Highly recommend.

This Beach house was the perfect location for a family reunion, or gathering with friends, Close proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping , and grocery. The house was the perfect place for the entire family to gather around the island in the kitchen, or gather on the porch to enjoy the ocean air . Adorably decorated, and super clean , with all the necessities to create a family meal and memories .The owner was so lovely to deal with, and very helpful . So much to do in this area, and so close to Asbury Park downtown area. Boardwalk is just a stones throw away , and coffee is available along your morning walk . There are so many fun activities for children and adults . We will definitely rent here again.

A very lovely Ocean Grove home only 1/2 block from the beach. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen, it was a very comfortable and lovely wat to celebrate 6 collective birthdays. Beds very comfortable too!

We always stay at 14 Surf and are never disappointed. Excellent accommodations and the owner always makes us feel so welcomed. We love Ocean Grove. It’s a great vacation for all ages and one of the safest beach towns anywhere. We love it!

We had a wonderful vacation at 14 Surf in OG. The house was spacious, charming and perfectly outfitted for a comfortable stay. The home has been renovated perfectly maintaining the charm, yet modernizing the kitchen and bathrooms. The decor of the entire home was beautiful with ample space for clothing and storage. All bedrooms have a full bath which was perfect for our family and we enjoyed both outside porches with great views of the ocean. The house is very close to the boardwalk and ocean and in a prime location at the north end of OG. The owners were gracious and offered advice on dining, shopping and were available anytime during our stay. We hope to stay at 14 Surf again soon!
