#793. This place has it all!

We have returned to OG with our kids because of the charm, the amazing beach, and the uniqueness of it all. THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL - proximity to everything, a spacious living environment, and attention to detail throughout! We swam and swam...and of course Days for ice cream, The Asbury boardwalk & Silverball (so fun!). We played family Ticket To Ride and got some amazing fresh shrimp from Klein's in Belmar. Also a few rounds of Uno on the lovely 2nd story patio with views! Didn't think we could love OG more, but it might be so. Thanks for everything. P.S. The showers were both so hot and perfect water pressure!

#784. Ocean Grove Memories

We truly enjoyed our week long summer vacation at 21 Heck Ave. We hadn't vacationed in 2 years due to the pandemic and we all (my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandsons)were looking forward to our vacation. We arrived on Friday 7/29/22 and were greeted by Terry W, property manager for our hosts, Carolyn & Angelo Carl. Terry knew the property well showing us each of the well-appointed details of this beautifully decorated 3 bedroom gem. The property is centrally located one block from the beach and one block from town. My grandsons loved the bunkbeds, retractable awning on a second floor deck, and the beach wagon providing easy transport for a 1 and 3 year old. This was the first beach experience for my 1 year old grandson. He loved the waves but wasn't a fan of the sand. We had a week of beautiful weather (6 days of sun, 1 day of clouds), great food (Ale house, OG Pizza, OG bakery, daily ice cream run to Days) and wonderful beach memories. We are looking forward to our next OG vacation and staying again at 21 Heck Ave.

#782. Nicest house in the Grove!

We have been coming to Ocean Grove every year on this week, which is our Anniversary, for about 15 years. We have rented many houses all over the Grove and this one is by far the nicest! Thanks so much.
p.s. John (the property manager) was very helpful.

Carolyn & Angelo - We had the best time at the Jersey Shore and made so many memories! Our favorite things to do at Ocean Grove were to go get smoothies at the beach, ice cream at Days and walk along the boardwalk.
We are already planning our trip for next year! Thank you for sharing your special home with us.

#760. Beautiful inviting beach home

This beautiful beach home has everything you’re looking for. Location is one block from from the beach. You can actually see the ocean and hear the peaceful waves from the upper balcony. My husband enjoyed walking to the bagel shop in the morning which is just a few short blocks away as well as all the charming shops on Main Street.
The home itself is beautifully decorated with an open layout that is both roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need from a quick cup of coffee to cooking a full meal if desired.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are also lovely, comfortable, and functional. Our grandchildren were thrilled to see the bunk beds.
Angelo and Carolyn have thought of everything. By providing detailed information, they have made vacationing in this beautiful home a perfect Ocean Grove getaway.

Thank you to Terry for greeting us and ensuring all our needs were met.
We definitely fell in love with 21 Heck and hope to return next year.

#757. The Beach House @ 21 Heck

The family and I enjoyed our time in Ocean Grove at the beautiful, clean, and well-appointed 21 Heck. From the initial communication to the final farewell, this is a "class act." From suggestions to what to bring, to the lists of what is available, to the QR codes for much of the downtown, nothing was left wanting. 5 adults were very comfortable with plenty of breathing space for all. One block from the beach and 1.5 blocks from the downtown, this location is ideal. Thank you!

#750. Coast 2 coast: My little one’s first trip to meet her NJ fam!

First of all, Ocean Grove is a little hidden gem that we hardly even knew about. I feel bad even writing this because I don’t want to ruin the secret. Shhh! We loved our stay at the Heck house. It is newly renovated, newly furnished, and they definitely payed a lot of attention to detail with the decor. Well done! We loved sitting on the upstairs deck looking at the sky and ocean, reading and people watching in the front sun room and also loved the openness of the living room, dining room, and kitchen allowing us to all hang in the same room together as a family. The owner Angelo was very hands on and communicative throughout the process and the property manager Terry was awesome enough to walk us through the property and was a available all week with whatever we needed. We felt the love! We did have a little one (22 months) so we brought a little baby gate to keep her from going up the stairs, but for the most part it was kid friendly and she had lots of space to roam throughout the downstairs. Having a easy to use smart TV, we were able to hook up with all our favorite streaming services so she didn’t skip a beat with her Disney + marathons. We loved just taking the 1 block walk to the beach or the 1 block walk in the other direction to all of the neat shops and cafés. It was nice having the little wagon and beach chairs/umbrella, and beach badges provided and not have to worry about any of that stuff. We went out to dinner in nearby Asbury Park which is a quick 5 minute or 15 walk away and we’re impressed with there little downtown area as well. We had beautiful weather, but it was nice that all rooms had fans and air conditioners for the hotter days. We loved our stay at the Heck House and if stars align we can start having our little family get-a-way/reunion every year here! Thank you for a great week on the Jersey Shore!

#731. Great space, location and wonderful hosts!

Your home was a perfect getaway for my family. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and welcoming. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and our evening cocktail taking in the view from the deck. A perfect location for beach walks and strolls around town. We loved all of the thoughtful details that made this a memorable stay and we can't wait to come back!
