Feel free to check out our other listings to check out what we have done to the other home which we bought last year. Our neighborhood is full of life, especially in the summer! In the mornings, we run on the boardwalk, then get breakfast and iced coffee Playa bowls right between 8th and 9th on ocean ave. Then spend the day at the beach and walk over to D'Jais for happy hour (15 min walk). Depending on how we're feeling, we will head to Marina Grille for dinner, or go to Bar A or Columns for a more upbeat evening. There are endless things to do in this town! Street parking is available. We are a short taxi from the NYC train. Cabs wait for trains to get in, so no need to call ahead, just make sure you have some cash. Sheets and towels are not included, but blankets and pillows are. We recommend ordering from Blue Cottage Linens should you want to order sheets and towels to the house.

Great place to stay for a family with young kids as it is a block and a half from the beach and a block and a half to an awesome playground the other way.
Excellent location and extremely responsive owner!! You're about a block away from the beach. This prime location on 8th avenue has breakfast, ice cream, and a convenient store as you go toward the beach. You can follow 8th avenue in the opposite direction and get to a massive playground, and if you continue, you'll get to the Belmar downtown area for restaurants and everything else you might need. The playground has everything from swings for infants/toddlers to giant obstacles for older kids. The home is toddler friendly and well equipped with everything you need. Victoria is very communicative about everything and extremely helpful. There isn't a dedicated parking area but Victoria may have suggestions for you. Generally, we found ample parking during the week before 10:00/10:30am and after 3:30/4:00pm. On the weekend I'd suggest arriving around 9:30am to find parking but you'll still be able to find parking after 3:30/4:00pm. Even if you find you need to park far away on day 1, you can easily bring your car as close as you want come nightfall because many visitors clear out. Everything was within walking distance or food could be delivered so we never went back to our car once it was settled in front of the house.
This home sets up perfectly for 2 families who want to vacation together but want their own family time, too. Beautifully renovated, perfectly located, it was a great place to stay.

This house truly is as beautiful as the pictures show it to be. It’s clean, spacious, open, bright and very cozy. The location is perfect, 1.5 block from the beach. The front porch is basically where we spent every meal.. our mornings and late nights. The yard is HUGE - Perfect to host a birthday or family gathering but could use more seating and dining & maybe some shade. The neighbors are super friendly. Victoria and her partners were available throughout our stay and quick to respond. We would stay here again, no question.
