NOTE: KITCHEN RENOVATED FOR 2021! Bathroom renovation 2019, Wonderfully decorated by my wife with a personal touch. Perfect north side location with a short walk to Asbury Park and OG Main St and a beautiful natural beach with dunes at the end of the block. Beach Locker is provided so you don't have to drag your stuff back. Four Beach badges, Washer Dryer, Towels and Linens Provided, 4 Beach Chairs, Umbrella, Full Cable TV with 3 DVD Players, 43" flat screen in living room, Full cable TV access in both bedrooms, microwave, ceiling fans, 1st bathroom has a stall shower with access from the primary bedroom or living room, the second bathroom has a tub with shower. Fully equipped new high end kitchen. The condo is the full second floor of the building. Sip your morning coffee in the sunroom (has a sunroom in the place of an outside porch) and gaze off at the ocean. Whenever you get the urge to take a dip, walk to the end of the block for sand, and surf. A three-block walk north gets you to the Asbury Park boardwalk where you can enjoy excellent restaurants and a meal with an ocean view, peruse the artsy shops, check out the historic Convention Hall and try your skill in the “Pinball Museum”. A short 5 min. walk south takes you to the quaint Ocean Grove Main St. with restaurants and shops. Walk one block west and across a park and there is a footbridge to Cookman Ave. Asbury Park's main corridor, full of restaurants bars, and shops. We enjoy playing the role of the host so feel free to ask for restaurant tips and suggestions. Hope to see you this summer! Rates include all taxes and there are no 3rd party fees. There is a $150 cleaning fee and a $500 refundable security deposit.

In the Neighborhood
The beauty of Ocean Grove with the excitement of Asbury Park 3 blocks away. A few blocks south takes you to OG Main Street where you can choose from a variety of restaurants, and peek into colorful shops. There is no other town this side of the Atlantic that has a collection of Victorian houses like Ocean Grove. Take a walk through the neighborhood to admire the Victorian architecture and the colorful summer tent community. Ocean Grove is the perfect relaxing family friendly retreat with the excitement of Asbury Park just steps away.
Nearby Attractions
Perfect location! Beach block on the north side of Ocean Grove only a few blocks walk north to the Asbury Park Boardwalk and restaurants and if you walk one block west and through the park you are at the pedestrian bridge to Asbury Park's Cookman Avenue with restaurants, shops and a movie theater. Asbury Park is in the midst of a resurgence and on any day of the week you're bound to find something going on. There's the famous Stone Pony, Beer Garden, Convention Hall, Paramount Theater, Pinball Museum, new Asbury Hotel many highly rated restaurants. You can also drive south to Point Pleasant or Seaside Heights for more boardwalk arcades and rides. Just 15 minutes west are the "Jersey Shore Premium Outlet Malls". The Asbury Park train station is about a 15-minute walk away.

Cancellations made 10 weeks before arrival date get a full refund.
For cancellations made less than 10 weeks before arrival we will refund your full deposit if the unit is rented at the same price.
House Rules
There must be at least one renter over the age of 24
No Smoking in the building
The condo is very quiet and soundproof so please respect the calm by controlling the running and jumping of especially active children which can be annoying to our downstairs neighbor.
50% due when making reservation.
Balance and $500 damage deposit due one week prior to arrival
Damage deposit covers loss of beach badges as well as damage.
Damage deposit is refunded within 2 weeks after inspection of property.

The place is amazing, the amenities are abundant. Michael and Suzanne, our hosts, are nice people; they are attentive to the small details that make a big difference. I've been staying at 16 surf avenue for the past five years and have already made my reservation for next year.
