The house, which includes two lovely porches, was a perfect place for us and alternating guests that included our friends and our two grown children and a baby. It was a short walk to the beach which is gorgeous, clean and not overly crowded, and even in the heat of the day filled only with friendly people. The town center is charming and not overly commercialized, but it includes some beautiful boutiques, a fabulous artisanal pizza restaurant and a ice cream parlor with every possible flavor of ice cream. So if you want to enjoy the simple pleasures of life — the seaside, boardwalks and outside grilling, tennis nearby too— Cynthia’s house is a good home base and she is a warm and accessible host.

#676. Lovely two-week stay in this beautiful home
We had such a lovely two-week stay in this beautiful home. It feels very much like “home”, on a quiet street with plenty of parking in the heart of summer season and lovely neighbors. We enjoyed being able to walk to parks, downtown ocean grove and the beach, and found the home a perfect space to gather for meals grilled out back and morning coffee on the porches. It was nice to have a separate living room and “tv room” for the kids! Highly suggest booking here, we plan to return. Cynthia was a lovely host and it was nice to have towels/sheets and beach stuff supplied!

#675. We loved lazying around the big porch
We came for a family beach vacation and stayed at Cynthia's house for a full week. The location was perfect, we loved lazying around the big porch-- the house is charming and comfortable for 5 people with ample room to spread out. It was everything I was hoping for! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Where to begin. As a family, we are very particular. Let me say our family has been going down to the OG for years and Cynthia’s place, BY FAR, was the nicest and cleanest house we’ve stayed in. Additionally, she is a terrific host! Super honest and truly cares about her home. She also goes above and beyond to make sure her visitors are taken care of. And all of the beds are super comfy, amazing! We will absolutely be coming back, no question. Cynthia…you rock thank you for everything!

#673. Cynthia’s house in Ocean Grove was the perfect home
Cynthia’s house in Ocean Grove was the perfect home away from home for our week at the shore! Not only was the house clean and comfortable but it’s very charming and in the perfect location to enjoy the quiet beach at Ocean Grove and the fun of Asbury Park. The two porches are simply fabulous, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a toddler to run around. On top of everything, Cynthia is a lovely host - quick to respond when we needed something but not intrusive. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

#672. We really enjoyed our stay.
This house is as relaxing and peaceful as stated. The porches are perfect to read and enjoy the breeze without the beating sun. The bedrooms especially the master is so pretty and the bed is heavenly. The kitchen was stocked with the basics which was really helpful! The access to the beach, boardwalks and main street is ideal! We really enjoyed our stay.

We spent two weeks at the house over Christmas break and really enjoyed our stay. A great family home on the shore in a wonderful little beach town. Great communication with Cynthia through out our stay. We look forward to staying there again.

Our family group of 5 people stayed at Cynthia's house during the 2019 Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfect for our needs, a bedroom with a king for one couple, a bedroom with a queen for the other and the single 19 year old had his own room with a twin. Cynthia was great, she came over right away when we accidentally turned off the pilot light of the gas burning fireplace. Ocean Grove is an attractive town with diverse examples of Victorian houses and the main shopping street fulfilled our morning coffee needs perfectly. We all agreed we should rent her house for a summer get away next year.
